Review a solution before resolving a ticket

A polished reply or a Done task does not prove that a support request is solved. Review the returned work against the original need before choosing a final status.

Check the complete result

1. Open the exact ticket and read the original Detailed context, later clarifications and the returned solution. Identify the source and version you are reviewing.

2. Turn the request into a few observable checks. For a broken checklist link, these might be: the page opens the approved version, the instructions are complete and the intended user can access them. For a text-only correction, the agreed check may be limited to the complete corrected text.

3. Compare the whole returned result with those checks. Read unchanged sections as well as the correction. A fix to one line can accidentally remove a necessary exception elsewhere.

4. If the result is incomplete, give focused feedback: identify the version and location, explain the failed requirement and request the complete corrected result. Keep the original request and earlier version so the next person understands what changed.

5. After the correction, repeat the whole-result check. Where the request includes a published page or shared-file route, check that actual route; a correct local copy is not enough. Obtain the requester’s confirmation when your service process requires it.

Keep a useful review on the ticket

Use Comments → Log context or @mention a teammate for a contribution that fits your team’s visibility rules. Enter the review and useful result, then submit once with the arrow control. Reopen the ticket and check that the full contribution is retained. Use the separate customer-response composer when you need to send the requester an update.

A concise review might say: “Checked the revised checklist against the request. The page now opens version 2 and the exception instructions are intact. Customer access confirmation is still outstanding.” Do not write that confirmation as completed until it actually occurs.

Your result is a clear decision: the agreed outcome is ready for resolution, or a specific remaining gap has an owner and next action. Keep sensitive material out of comments unless its audience is established.
