Investigate an enquiry page problem
Find the first point where the expected enquiry flow breaks, then make the smallest useful correction.
Before you start
Have the page name, visitor address, expected form and CRM destination. If the issue concerns a particular response, keep its submitted values and time so you can follow the same item.
Find the problem
- Open the correct workroom and page. Confirm the page, form and route before comparing results; another page’s successful response does not explain this one.
- Check the visitor address and complete page content. If the intended audience cannot open it, resolve access before trying another submission.
- Open Submissions and review the relevant filters. If the response exists, open it and inspect its values, routing status, Activity and Metadata. A pending route is not a reason to resubmit the form.
- Open the intended CRM destination and compare mapped values. If the lead is correct but unassigned, the next step is an agreed handler—not another form test.
- For a wider trend, review Pages → Summary and the page’s Analytics tab. Read the labels for Views, Visitors, Submissions and Conversion, and note the displayed scope. Keep workroom trends separate from page-specific results.
- Choose the smallest correction that addresses the first failed step: access, unclear copy, a field or route setting, destination values, or ownership. Keep the original observation so you can check whether the correction worked.
Make a controlled revision
Before editing a live page, preserve the old copy and settings and confirm whether changes affect visitors immediately. Apply the intended change through the builder, wait for the saved state, then reopen it. Check unchanged routing as well as the edited content. Where publication is required, update it and recheck the actual visitor address and enquiry flow.
Expected result
You know where the flow failed and can judge the correction against that specific problem.
Remember: A conversion percentage does not prove unique-person demand or successful handling. Close Page stops new submissions while leaving the page live; Delete Page is not a troubleshooting shortcut. Do not assume a native rollback exists.
