Check a form submission in CRM
Follow one response from your page into its saved submission and CRM destination.
Before you start
Use the reviewed page and its supplied visitor address. Check the form route and intended CRM space first. For a test, use distinctive fictional details that cannot be confused with a real enquiry, and make sure no earlier uncertain attempt already exists.
Trace one response
- Open the visitor page and check that its content and form match the version you intend to test. Enter the test values, review the required fields and use the form’s submit button once. Note the displayed result.
- Return to that page in Pages → Submissions. Check the form, status, routing and time filters. Use Refresh if needed, then find the response by its exact values and submission time.
- Open the response. Compare every entered value, including any field that is not mapped to CRM. Read its routing state, destination type and destination reference.
- Open Activity and expand Metadata to check the response’s page, form and processing details. Keep any error associated with this same response.
- Open CRM in the intended workroom and space. Use the reported destination reference where available, or search by the exact submitted values. Open the matching record and compare all mapped fields with the saved submission.
- Check the lead’s owner, status, source and communication settings. If it is unassigned, arrange the next step with the appropriate handler; a successfully routed response still needs someone to deal with the enquiry.
Expected result
You can locate the same response in Pages and corroborate its mapped values in the intended CRM record. Any routing, field or ownership issue is clear enough to resolve.
Remember: Run Current Routes is not a refresh. If a response is pending or missing, inspect the existing state before submitting again or creating a lookalike lead manually. A displayed Subscribed setting is not, by itself, evidence of permission to send marketing.
