Compare an answer about a task with the actual task fields.

Check a CoBrain answer against the source

When an answer describes a saved record, open that record to check the important details. A generated summary and the record itself are not the same thing.

Before you start: Identify the exact task the answer refers to, including its workroom and Board.

Open the task independently

1. In the top global search, choose Board as the scope. Enter the complete task title and press Enter.

2. Open the matching Board result. Confirm Task Title and Select board before comparing any other fields. Similar names can belong to different tasks.

3. Scroll to Status & Planning. Read Task Status and Due Date directly from the saved task.

Compare the answer

4. Check the generated answer field by field. Keep any detail that matches and correct or qualify anything that does not.

5. If the answer shows an internal status ID rather than a readable status, use the task’s displayed status. Do not guess what the ID means from its shape or prefix.

6. If the answer and task disagree, check that they refer to the same record and point in time. The record may have changed since the answer was produced.

You should now know which details are supported by the actual task. A due date describes a target; it does not prove the work finished on that date. A Done label also does not replace a review of the required output when the business decision depends on it.

If search returns no match, check the intended Board through normal navigation before concluding the task does not exist. If you cannot access the source, ask its owner for help rather than treating the AI answer as independent confirmation.
